Author: Wendy Lasisi

Wendy Lasisi is a PhD candidate in Medicine (Clinical Epidemiology) at Memorial University of Newfoundland with a Rotary Foundation Global Grant Scholarship for Multiple Sclerosis. She graduated with a BSc. (Hons) in Neuroscience from the University of Leeds, and an MSc. in Clinical Neuroscience from the University of Roehampton. As a clinical researcher in training at the Recovery and Performance Laboratory, her project focuses on linking the clinical features of Multiple Sclerosis to brain structure and function, and changes in arm and leg impairment among people with Multiple Sclerosis. The most fascinating aspect of her work is interacting with patients and observing how the research she’s involved in impacts their lives positively in real-time.
